• Supervise and manage a team of construction workers, ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required quality standards
• Oversee the installation of fiber optic cables, including trenching, cable placement, and splicing
• Ensure that all materials, tools, and equipment are available on-site and in good working condition
• Coordinate with the project manager to ensure that project milestones are met on schedule
• Maintain accurate records of daily work activities, including work progress, material usage, and labor hours
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders as needed to ensure that work is progressing as planned

Requirements  

• 2 years in construction or fiber optic installation
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods of time

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
