Job Description
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, reliability, and quality of transmission for the NOC.
- Oversee the daily operations of the NOC and ensure the team is properly staffed, trained, and equipped to provide level 1 and 2 support to our customers.
- Ensure that the NOC is meeting defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for our customers.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the operational support and maintenance procedures focused on avoiding unscheduled service interruptions and achieving best-in-class customer support.
- Planning network expansion and new devices purchase.
- Monitor the network and server from the core level to access.
- Creating and implementing network security measures.
- Conduct regular network performance tests.
- Coordinate and collaborate with IP Team, Technical Support, and Operation Team to ensure alignment with cross-functional processes and procedures and explanation of teleport and customer support responsibilities.
- Build a winning team through meaningful, timely feedback and recognition.
- Develop, document, and ensure compliance with NOC processes and procedures.
- Act as a point of technical escalation and support, as needed.
- Assign and manage workload and shift work schedules.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Network Engineering or any related field.
- CCNP
- 5 years in a similar role
