Job Description
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s supply chain and logistics strategy and operations, ensuring streamlined activities across our internet service, IT solutions, project implementation, and retail trading divisions. The role is crucial in optimizing processes, reducing costs, and maximizing the quality and efficiency of our supply chain operations.
- Develop a unified supply chain strategy that aligns with the company’s diverse business goals and objectives.
- Monitor the performance of supply chain operations to ensure they meet required standards and targets.
- Negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, and supply agreements.
- Continuously assess and manage supplier performance, ensuring quality and timeliness standards are maintained.
- Collaborate with sales and IT teams to forecast product and equipment demands.
- Logistics Management:
- Coordinate the movement of IT hardware, fibreoptic equipment, internet service equipment, retail goods, services, and information through the supply chain.
- Manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services, ensuring timely deliveries and installations.
- Develop risk assessments and implement contingency plans to mitigate potential supply chain interruptions.
- Monitor overall supply chain costs and pursue opportunities for financial optimization.
- Implement cost-saving technologies and negotiate bulk purchase agreements.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Conduct market research to identify new IT, internet service, and retail opportunities.
- Assess market demand, potential suppliers, and partners to inform supply chain decisions and strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales departments to understand emerging market trends, customer preferences, and potential areas for growth.
- Negotiate partnership agreements or collaborations that may lead to joint ventures or shared market initiatives.
- Evaluate potential new products or services for their viability in the market, considering factors like demand, cost, competition, and margins.
- Seek and integrate cutting-edge technologies or processes to improve supply chain efficiency and open new market opportunities.
- Engage with key customers or accounts to understand their specific needs, feedback on products/services, and any opportunities for further collaboration or business expansion.
- Brand Alignment:
- Ensure supply chain operations, partners, and processes align with the company’s brand values and reputation.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business administration, advanced degrees, or professional certifications are a plus.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably with exposure to IT and internet service sectors.
Proficiency with supply chain software and tools, including analytics.
